Fab Lab Floating Amazonas is a project to incubate future manufacturing in the world green heart.

In order to discuss key issues for sustainable development of the Amazon rainforest, Fab Lab Peru and Floating Fab Lab Network is pleased to invite you to participate in the Working goup | Floating FAB LAB Amazon: Challenges and Opportunities. Fab Lab Floating Amazonas is a project that involves the creation of a digital fabrication laboratory (Fab Lab) sailing down the Amazon River, is a new vision on alternatives to the major challenges of today's world: climate change and inclusion social, integrating the most advanced digital manufacturing with the potential of cultural and natural diversity of the Amazon territory technologies. Its green heart condition, makes the Amazon an ideal place making future could be incubated with the ability to explore alternatives to a responsible industry in different fields (bio-printing, food, green building, bio- electronics, etc.), while allowing local communities access to technological tools to deal with their daily challenges related to water, energy, health, food, education and others.
