Workshop: Smart materials in robotics : applications and how to work with them
The workshop introduces smart materials and their applications to hardware projects in the field of robotics.
Materials with intelligent and responsive behavior have been central to the latest research in the field of robotics. This workshop provides an introduction to such materials along with an in-depth understanding of their applications. We shall also develop a few smart material based projects during this workshop. Materials we will be working with include current actuated shape memory alloys,vibrations sensing piezoelectric material etc.
