Workshop: Mentors in the Making
Learn about programs and strategies to reach more students with digital fabrication programs for STEM education.
Fab Lab Carnegie Science Center uses digital fabrication technologies to thoughtfully integrate STEM competencies into authentic making experiences, and with its outreach, reaches over 8,000 students a year. Over 60% of the students who participate in Fab Lab programs are under represented in STEM fields (minorities and women). Come learn about some innovative solutions developed to reach these audiences as well as some tried and true programs.
