Version 1

Workshop: Large Scale Collaborative Projects as a STEM Leaning Tool

Event large

Brent Richardson

Great teaching should be defined by the work and successes of each student. This demands that instruction be student-centered and that students are allowed to apply knowledge in meaningful ways. At Fab Lab Houston we strive to create scenarios that encourage students to collaborate and be producers of things that have personal significance using digital fabrication tools. This session will explore several large scale projects and lessons learned throughout the process. Together we will discuss projects Fab Labs around the world are tackling and what students are learning.
