Version 1
Workshop: Fab on a Chip. DIY microfluidic devices in a FabLab

Luis Flores
Making low cost microfluidic devices (Lab on a chip) for applications in bioengineering, biotech and art with a standard Fab Lab equipment
Microfabrication and microfluidics have allowed the development of devices called "Lab on a Chip" that is a global trend for the construction of miniature biomedical and environmental devices that can be used to diagnose diseases, build biosensors or even art.
In this workshop participants will learn the operating principles and also manufacture a basic microfluidic device using the standard machinery in a Fab Lab.
