Workshop: Fab I Can Statements.How to best assess growth in Digital Fabrication?
We are seeking to have a discussion on how Digital Fabrication learning standards can balance the broad range of teaching methods with the appropriate framing and staging of skill development.
The Fab Foundation has continued the development of a set of formative assessment statements for teachers (and students) to evaluate their classroom progress across the technical domains of digital fabrication. In this workshop, we are seeking a critical discussion to understand how such statements can balance the broad range of teaching methods with the appropriate framing and staging of skill development in a wide range of learning environments and an ever-changing technology landscape. All are welcome to participate, especially teachers and students in primary education as well as Fab Academy graduates and instructors!
